Professional Background

Following a 25 year career in retail, with Next and Asda Walmart, I established a nursing agency (Karisa healthcare) in 2011, a regulated service (Complesso) in 2015 and a training company (Karisa training) in 2023.

During my retail career, I held a number of field and head office roles, including Head of Operations for clothing (Europe) and Head of Space for George international, accountable for George clothing space and brand globally for Walmart international.

Away from my day to day role at Karisa Healthcare, I am also a board member for Black Country Learning Disabilities & Autism, representing providers from across the West Midlands.I also chairs the provider forum for LD, Autism & MH for all providers across supported living, community and residential support in Dudley.

For the last 6 years, I have also been a director and on the board of trustees for Wolverhampton Grammar School.

Education;

I have completed several business qualifications including Strategic development, leadership and six sigma black belt with Henley business School.

Personal Interests

Hobbies and Interests: Holidays and seeing new places. Spending time in the UK and Europe in my motor home. Time with family and friends, playing football and running

Fun Fact: Avid collector of single malt whiskey, bottles and casks.
