As Director of Operations, my role is to oversee the day-to-day functions of Karisa Healthcare, I ensure that the business operates efficiently & effectively, aligning operational strategies with business goals and most importantly ensuring that we are operating inline with Karisa Healthcare’s values and ethos.

Brief Professional Summary: 

With over a decade of experience in healthcare staffing, I bring extensive knowledge gained from diverse roles across various businesses and locations.

Before joining Karisa Healthcare in November 2017, I served as the Business Development Manager for a national franchisor for three years. In this capacity, I successfully guided new franchisees to profitability within 3 months of trading and navigated them through the CQC registration process for Homecare operations.

I began my career in healthcare staffing as a sales consultant, concentrating on securing new business for offices in Birmingham, Cornwall, and Bristol.

Personal Interests

Hobbies and Interests: Outside of work, I enjoy walking the dog, making memories with my two children, weekends away, holidays, following West Bromwich Albion and usually if I cannot be located it’s because I am lost somewhere in a bunker on a golf course.

Volunteer Work/Community Involvement: One of my passions is fundraising for Marie Curie, I have previously completed a sponsored Half Marathon and at the time of writing this, I am in the process of training for a White Collar Boxing event in July 2024.

Fun Fact; When in primary school, I was the first one in the new Darlaston Swimming Baths and made the front page on regional papers.
